Rendezvous Meadows Golf Course
About Rendezvous Meadows Golf Course
Rendezvous Meadows traces its origins to 1977, when members of the newly formed Pinedale Golf Club began planning a course of their own. The club held its first official meeting in May 1978, voting then to accept title to the golf course property.
In 1979 the Sublette County Commissioners appointed eight members to a new Sublette County Recreation Board, charged with overseeing development of a nine-hole course in Pinedale. The layout was planned with two sets of tees for each of the nine greens, allowing golfers to play an 18-hole round. Day-to-day operations were to be handled by the Pinedale Golf Club.

Ray Howard of William Hull and Associates of Utah was hired by the Recreation Board as course designer and construction foreman. Partial play was possible in 1982, seeding was completed in 1984, and the first full season of operation followed in 1986, when the course opened as Rendezvous Meadows Public Golf Course.
