About Sugarwood Golf Course
Sugarwood opened as a public nine-hole course in 1965, with a second nine added a few years later.
A renovation program began in 1989, when an architect drew up changes to four holes. Those plans were then reworked and extended by Ed, who reshaped the layout one hole at a time until hole 16 completed the 18-hole renovation in 2012. Work on the course has continued since, including revised tee boxes and new cart paths.
Multiple sets of tees stretch the course from 5,186 to 6,710 yards.
