Viroqua Hills Golf Course plays across rolling, hilly ground in southwestern Wisconsin, where elevation changes shape nearly every shot. The opening par 4 of close to 400 yards drops downhill from the tee, offering views across holes on both nines, and finishes with a blind approach to a green guarded by bunkers left and right.
The second is an uphill par 5 of more than 500 yards that doglegs left, with a blind tee shot over a large ridge and trees lining both sides of the fairway. Its small, sharply elevated green makes approaches and pitches demanding, and downhill putts run quickly.

The third ranks among the toughest holes here, a par 4 stretching beyond 450 yards with out of bounds down the entire left side and trees to the right. A long downhill second shot must find the right tier of a multi-level green protected by a sizable bunker on the right.
