About Clifton Highlands Golf Club
Clifton Highlands Golf Club sits above the St. Croix River Valley in Prescott, Wisconsin, roughly 35 minutes east of St. Paul, and has been in play for more than forty years. The course was designed by Dr. Gordon Emerson, who regarded it as among his strongest work.
The public facility includes an 18-hole championship course along with a nine-hole par-3 course set on a hilltop. The layout presents a range of hole designs, with wooded stretches, water and sand hazards in play, giving golfers across a range of handicaps something to contend with.
