About Paganica Golf Course
Paganica Golf Course takes its name from an ancient Roman pastime in which players used a bent wooden stick to strike a large leather ball, filled with feathers or similar material, toward a chosen target such as a tree or rock. Two teams played in opposing directions, somewhat like modern hockey.
The 18-hole layout was designed and built in 1967 by golf course architect Luke Frye. It measures 6,576 yards from the back tees and plays to a par of 72, with a course rating of 70.0 and a slope rating of 116. Narrow, tree-lined fairways define the round, and water comes into play on seven holes. The greens are moderate in both size and pace.

The signature hole is the par-4 fourth, which stretches 427 yards and asks for an approach carrying at least 186 yards over water to reach the putting surface.
