Hansen Park Golf Course is a short-game test, with 17 par-3 holes, many playing around 100 yards, that put wedges and short irons to steady use. Wooded areas and water hazards sit close enough to collect offline shots, so extra golf balls are worth packing.
The layout pairs open fairways with stands of tall trees, and there is some elevation change, most noticeably on the back nine, which is divided by Underwood Creek.
An irons practice area is available at no charge, with players bringing and collecting their own golf balls.
