Irish Waters Golf Club

Irish Waters Golf Club sits along Duck Creek in the Wisconsin countryside near Freedom, with holes routed across rolling terrain. The layout features manicured fairways, mature trees, seven lakes and an island green, which the club notes is the only one in the area.

The opening hole plays as a gentle start with a reasonable birdie chance, though out-of-bounds runs down the right side and a bunker protects the front right of a green that can putt tricky, favoring approaches left below the hole. Another demanding par four calls for an accurate tee shot, with out-of-bounds and water both in play and a narrow landing area. The approach is equally intimidating, as a pond runs along the right side of that green, making a conservative play a sensible option.
