Whispering Springs Golf Club
About Whispering Springs Golf Club
Whispering Springs Golf Club is an 18-hole course in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, designed by Bob Lohmann in 1996. It occupies the site of the former Ledgeview Golf Course, a nine-hole layout that Lohmann reworked into a full 18 holes.
The design gives each hole its own character. The front nine plays in a links-like fashion across rolling meadowland dotted with native grasses, while the back nine turns inward through stands of mature trees left from the original course. The shift in terrain and scenery calls for a change of strategy as the round progresses.
The course sits roughly an hour from Appleton, Green Bay, Madison and Milwaukee.
