Spread Eagle Golf Course is a nine-hole layout in Spread Eagle, Wisconsin, which golfers can play as eighteen holes by completing a second loop. No tee time is required to play.
The course dates to 1972 and has belonged to the Erickson family since 1988, when Ron and Jo Ann Erickson bought it to pursue their goal of owning and running a golf course. They operated it until 2015, when they retired and moved to Florida.
The course then sat unused for a decade before their son, Dean, set out to restore it in recognition of his parents' years of work. With help from family, friends and community volunteers, the overgrown and neglected grounds were brought back into playing condition.
