Bloomer Memorial Golf Course is a city-owned course in Bloomer, Wisconsin, with roots dating to 1930, when the original nine holes were laid out by Gus Norman. A second nine was made possible in 1992 through a donation from Dr. Merne "Doc" Asplund and his wife, Mary, and opened for play in 1994.
Further gifts from the Asplund family shaped the property in the years that followed: land for a new clubhouse was donated in 1998 by Matt and Penni Asplund, with the clubhouse and cart shed themselves funded by Doc and Mary. Both opened in 1999.
The City of Bloomer currently leases the course to Karli Asplund, who operates it with her staff, including superintendent Chris Kamppi.
