About Seattle Golf Club

Seattle Golf Club in Shoreline, Washington, plays over a course designed in 1996 by Arnold Palmer and renovated in 2022 by Thad Layton of the Arnold Palmer Design Company. The layout asks for a technical, thoughtful approach, with narrow fairways and fast greens presenting a test for golfers across skill levels.

Hundred-year-old Douglas firs frame the holes and lend the setting a quiet, secluded feel, and the grounds are closely maintained.

The club has a long history, documented by member and club historian H.A. Flaeger in 1959, who noted its continuity through two World Wars and the Depression years and the close-knit character of its membership. Seattle Golf Club has also been a longstanding supporter of amateur golf in the Pacific Northwest, a role central to its identity.
