Skagit Preserve Golf Course

Skagit Preserve Golf Course in Sedro-Woolley is owned and operated by Paul Lavin, who also serves as the course's head professional. A PGA Professional with more than two decades in the game, Lavin built his background at a range of Northwest clubs — including Jefferson Park in Seattle, Useless Bay, Echo Falls and Overlake — as well as Kapalua on Maui.

Lavin first took on the task of restoring the course in 2011, stepping away some years afterward before returning roughly eight years later. He brings practical experience in agronomy and turf care to the day-to-day upkeep of the property, with an emphasis on serving the surrounding community.
