Blue Boy West sits in the Cascade foothills above the Skykomish Valley in Monroe, Washington. The property began life in the 1900s as Blue Boy Ranch, a thoroughbred training operation, and was converted into a golf course in 1992. Its name comes from the pig in the film "State Fair."
Alongside the golf, the site includes indoor and outdoor event facilities. Work in 2017 added a paver runway leading to a staircase, a raised stage and gazebo area, along with a fire pit area and an outdoor bar. Further updates in 2019 brought renovated restrooms and a caterer's kitchen in the Indoor Event Center, interior finishing touches and a built-in photo booth station.
