About Tapps Island Golf Course
Tapps Island Golf Course is a nine-hole public course set on the east side of Lake Tapps, southeast of the Tacoma area. Mount Rainier is visible from nearly every hole, giving the layout a scenic backdrop throughout the round.
On-site food and drink are handled by "Hot Dog Steve," a fixture at the course for more than 31 years, offering hot dogs, snacks and beverages.
