About Washington National Golf Club
Washington National Golf Club in Auburn serves as the home course for the University of Washington's men's and women's golf teams, and the school's colors and branding appear throughout the property, from the team-themed carts to the purple "W" emblem displayed at the closing 18th hole.
The championship-length layout is open to public play and has hosted a number of collegiate tournaments, including NCAA regional championships. A full practice facility supports both casual rounds and the group outings and tournaments the club regularly accommodates.

The round opens with a straightaway par 5 that longer hitters can reach in two, though the tee shot must be placed carefully between a fairway bunker on the right and trees on the left. The first green is fairly flat, broken only by a small ridge that separates the back third of the putting surface.
