Essex Country Club sits in the countryside of Essex Junction on Old Stage Road, roughly twenty minutes from Burlington, Vermont.
The par-72 course was designed by Montreal architect Graham Cooke and plays 6,545 yards from the back tees, 6,045 from the middle tees and 5,350 from the forward tees. Fourteen holes are fully irrigated. Fairways are framed closely by trees, and the large greens are set within landscaped terrain that puts a premium on a deft putting stroke.
