About Burlington Country Club
Burlington Country Club is a private, family-oriented club set on a hilltop in Burlington, Vermont's largest city. Its golf course was designed by Donald J. Ross, and the Ross layout has remained the club's defining feature for more than a century.
The club marked its centennial in 2024, an occasion accompanied by a published history of its first hundred years, Vermont Gem: The 100-Year History of Burlington Country Club, written by Andy Bigford. The club also maintains archives and appointed its first official historian in 2023, part of a long-standing interest in documenting the founders, members and staff who shaped its golf and community traditions.
