Old Hickory Golf Club LLC

Old Hickory Golf Club in Woodbridge plays to a par of 72 over 7,190 yards from the back tees. The championship layout was designed by architect Tim Freeland, who previously worked with Gary Player's design firm and also contributed to the design of Raspberry Falls Golf and Hunt Club, a sister course.

The property is gently rolling and wooded with pine, oak, maple and hickory. Beaver Creek bisects the land, with roughly nine holes north of the creek and nine to the south, and smaller tributaries run through the property and come into play throughout the round. According to Freeland, about half the holes required no earthmoving and were routed to follow the existing contours. Where homesites border the course, they sit on the high side of the fairways. Every hole is bunkered, though the course is not heavily sanded, and the greens are A4 bentgrass, a surface known for quick putting speeds.
