Meadows Farms Golf Course spreads across 268 acres in Locust Grove, Virginia, with 27 holes designed by Bill Ward, Jr., whose portfolio includes six courses. Each hole was given a distinct character and its own story, producing a wide range of challenges across the three nines.
The layout is routed to give golfers of differing abilities a choice of how to play each hole, testing low handicappers while still leaving a fair line for higher handicappers. The course is also known for including what it bills as the longest hole.
Fairways and greens are closely maintained, and the setting of rolling countryside and open views provides a quiet backdrop for a round.
