The front nine opens with a tree-lined par 4 followed by two par 5s, including a 510-yard third from the back tees. The fourth is the course's toughest hole, a dogleg par 4 that longer players can shorten by challenging the right side. Two contrasting par 3s stand out: the short fifth, playing roughly 150 yards to a shallow green, and the 209-yard seventh, where pin position dictates the shot.

On the back nine, the 12th runs alongside a pond that stretches nearly the length of the hole, while the par-3 14th is regarded as the signature, playing over natural wetland to a two-tiered green. The 15th is a deceptive dogleg right, and the 16th bends gently left from an elevated tee.
