About Country Club of Fairfax
The Country Club of Fairfax is a private, members-only club set on 121 acres in the rolling hills of Northern Virginia, roughly 30 minutes from Washington, DC. It was founded in 1947 as the Court House Country Club, named for the historic Fairfax court house where George Washington's will was kept. That year a committee of twenty local residents studied the need for a private club in the area and chose a site considered well suited to an eighteen-hole golf course.

Alongside its 18-hole course, the club offers outdoor and indoor tennis and pickleball courts, swimming pools, and a fitness center. Dining includes several indoor rooms as well as an outdoor patio that overlooks the course. Junior programs and a full calendar of family social events round out the club's offerings, among them an Independence Day celebration with fireworks, summer concerts, and holiday brunches.
