Goodyear Golf Club
About Goodyear Golf Club
Goodyear Golf Club opened in 1980 in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Its 18 holes wind across rolling hills and through dense woodland, combining a test of golf with long views over the surrounding countryside.
The front nine was laid out by Gene Hamm, with construction starting in 1979 and play beginning the following year. Work then turned to the second half of the course, which was designed in house and opened in 1994.
The layout measures 6,607 yards from the black tees and 4,898 yards from the forward silver tees.
