About Mount Vernon Country Club
Mount Vernon Country Club is a private club in Alexandria, Virginia, built around an 18-hole championship golf course with a long-standing place in the area's golf history.
The layout was originally designed by Russell Roberts and later shaped by architect Ed Ault, with a further round of course improvements carried out by Bill Love in 2016. The club opened in 1961, an occasion marked by an exhibition match that featured Sam Snead.
