Nibley Park Golf Course
About Nibley Park Golf Course
Nibley Park Golf Course opened in May 1922 on land donated to Salt Lake City by the Nibley family, making it the oldest public course in Utah. Its central position in the city draws both residents and visitors, with views of the Wasatch Mountains from the property.
Mature trees line and protect the fairways and greens, some of them predating the arrival of the early pioneers in the Salt Lake Valley.
Practice facilities include a range with seasonal grass tees and hitting mats, where limited-flight balls are used. There are also two putting and chipping greens built to match the speed and contours of the course greens, along with a separate short-wedge practice area.
