Forest Dale Golf Course
About Forest Dale Golf Course
Forest Dale dates to 1906, when it opened as the Salt Lake Country Club, making it the oldest golf course in Utah. The City took over the course in 1935, and several rounds of renovation have followed since. A significant redesign that began in 1986 updated the layout into a more contemporary challenge while preserving its historic character. Several of the small, original table-top greens remain, putting a premium on accurate approach play.

Practice facilities include a 140-yard short range north of the 6th hole, set up as a bring-your-own-balls area for wedge work. There is also a large putting green matched to the speed and contours of the greens on the course, along with a chipping green and a practice bunker beside the short range.
