Hawks Creek Golf Club
About Hawks Creek Golf Club
Hawks Creek Golf Club is a public course owned and operated by the City of Westworth Village, in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. It occupies the site of the former Carswell Golf Course, which was renovated in 2000 and reopened under its current name in 2002, with course improvements continuing since. A recent bunker project reshaped every bunker on the layout and added white premier play sand.
Mature trees, natural water hazards and strategically placed bunkers shape the round. The front nine rewards distance control off the tee, while the longer, more undulating back nine asks for well-placed tee shots. Water is in play on most holes, and the MiniVerde greens are fast and rolling. Four sets of tees range from roughly 5,500 to 6,900 yards.
