About Canyon Springs Golf Club
Canyon Springs Golf Club is a public course in San Antonio that opened in 1998, built on former ranchland once owned by the Classen family. Stone accents and remnants of the original homestead remain on the property, and longhorn steer, deer and other native wildlife are often seen along the fairways.
Designed by Thomas Walker, the layout threads through the rolling hills and mature trees of the Texas Hill Country. It features two limestone waterfalls and several water features, and a loop routing that leaves each hole with a sense of seclusion. Five sets of tees accommodate a range of ages and abilities.
