Marshall Lakeside Country Club dates to 1923 and was laid out by designer Gus Carter. The course follows a traditional style, with narrow fairways framed by trees, small greens that bend and roll, and water in play across the property. Bermuda grass covers the playing surfaces, and the layout carries a course rating of 34.7 with a slope of 116.
The toughest test comes at the par-4 second hole. Measuring 431 yards, it turns a full 90 degrees to the left about 190 yards out, and tee shots that don't take the proper line leave a long approach into the green.
