About Mansfield National Golf Club
Mansfield National Golf Club is a public course in Mansfield, Texas, created through a public-private partnership between the City of Mansfield and Arcis Golf. The project was conceived to bring a championship-length layout to the growing south Dallas-Fort Worth area while keeping it open to all golfers.
The course was designed by architect John Colligan, whose other Texas work includes Squaw Valley in Glen Rose and Ridgeview Ranch in Plano. His routing spreads across 225 rolling acres crossed by Low Branch Creek and set around a four-acre lake, with stands of native oak, cedar, elm and mesquite framing the holes. The design works with the existing terrain rather than reshaping it.

Features include 26 bunkers and large, undulating greens. The best-known hole is the fifth, a par 3 that plays up to 233 yards.
