About Lubbock Country Club

Lubbock Country Club, founded in 1921, sits in the historic Blackwater Draw roughly three miles north of downtown Lubbock. The private club's grounds form a green contrast to the surrounding cotton fields of the South Plains, with rolling fairways, mature trees and ponds.

The Blackwater Draw setting carries deep history: the area was used by some of the earliest inhabitants of the New World, including the Clovis culture of about 13,000 years ago, who hunted ancient bison there.
