Liberty Municipal Golf Course
About Liberty Municipal Golf Course
Liberty Municipal Golf Course, once known as Magnolia Ridge Country Club, sits among the woods of Liberty, Texas. The nine-hole layout was originally designed by Ralph Plummer, and its tree-lined corridors and small greens ask golfers of every level to plot their way around rather than simply swing away.
A ground-up renovation designed by Jeff Blume was completed in 2023, rebuilding the greens and adding 30 new bunkers built to USGA specifications. The work also improved drainage, allowing the course to reopen for play quickly after wet weather.
