About Legends Golf Course and Villas
Legends Golf Course and Villas is a public course set on Lake LBJ in the Texas Hill Country near Kingsland. The layout was designed by Tom Kite along with Roy Bechtol and Randy Russell, and it plays through rolling terrain dotted with native oak trees and accented by water features.
Each hole presents a different test, with holes playable for a range of skill levels. The opening par 4 measures 424 yards from the gold tees, with out-of-bounds left, fairway bunkers right, deep bunkers at the left of the green and a subtle two-tiered putting surface sloping from back to front. The second, a 444-yard par 4, is lined by homes on both sides and bends around fairway bunkers on the left, with a green ringed by bunkers on every side and uneven lies on the berms just left of it.
