About Tempest Golf Club
Tempest Golf Club in Gladewater has passed through three names and several owners over the years, with periods of change and uncertainty along the way. The semi-private course now plays as a renovated championship design by architect Jeffrey Brauer.
The property was once tree-covered farmland, and its natural elevation changes have long made it well suited to golf. Longtime players describe the layout as both scenic and demanding, shaped by the rolling terrain that remains its defining feature.
