About Texas 9 Golf
Texas 9 Golf is a public executive course in Fort Worth, designed by Steven D. Plumber, ASGCA, and opened in 1999. It was built as a public facility to widen access to the game in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
Previously operating as the Jim McLean Training Facility, the course changed management in 2023, with plans to add amenities while maintaining the layout's established character. After more than two decades, it continues to serve the Metroplex as a site for PGA training, annual tournaments and everyday play.
