About Royal Oaks Country Club
Royal Oaks Country Club dates to 1969, when the course was laid out by J. Press Maxwell, Don January and Billy Martindale. The design has been revisited twice since, first by D.A. Weibring in 2001 and again by Chet Williams in 2023, with both renovations keeping the character and routing of the original plan intact.
The course now features Tahoma 31 turf on the fairways and tee boxes and TifEagle greens, and its traditional layout presents a test for players across the handicap range.
The club has served for more than twenty years as the home course of Scottie Scheffler, a two-time Masters champion and Olympic gold medalist.
