Palo Duro Creek Golf Course is an 18-hole regulation course owned by the City of Canyon, set in the Hunsley Hills area of Canyon, Texas. It was designed by Colorado golf course architect Henry Hughes, with the front nine built in 1959 and laid out on both sides of Palo Duro Creek. The back nine followed a few years later, winding through the homes of the Hunsley Hills neighborhood.
The par-72 layout offers several sets of tees, stretching from roughly 5,800 to 6,900 yards. Water from Palo Duro Creek figures into play on 14 of the 18 holes, adding a steady test throughout the round. Tees and fairways are Bermuda, while the greens are a bentgrass and poa mix.
