Cross Timbers Golf Course sits on rolling terrain in Azle, with undulating fairways and natural elevation changes that recall the Texas Hill Country. The large greens are planted with Champion Bermuda and run quick, and four sets of tees allow players of differing abilities to find a suitable test.
The opening tee looks out over Eagle Mountain Lake, with the Fort Worth skyline visible in the distance. The routing mixes short and long par 3s, demanding par 4s and risk-reward par 5s, asking for a range of shots over the course of a round.
On site, the Roadrunner Grill serves food and drinks, and PGA-certified staff are available to assist golfers.
