About Onion Creek Club

Onion Creek Club was founded by Jimmy Demaret, a three-time Masters champion, and is recognized as the birthplace of the tournament series that grew into the senior professional circuit, drawing players such as Arnold Palmer and Ben Crenshaw in the later stages of their careers. Crenshaw went on to design a second nine at the course, which today offers 27 holes of golf in the Texas Hill Country.

The private club in South Austin also includes racquet sports, aquatics and dining. Its clubhouse mixes older Austin character with modern comforts and holds memorabilia and photographs documenting the club's golf history, including its connections to several Masters champions.
