About Avery Ranch Golf Club
Avery Ranch Golf Club is a public 18-hole championship course on the northwest side of Austin, set in rolling Hill Country terrain with oak-lined fairways, open vistas and a 60-acre lake. The layout was designed by Andy Raugust, formerly an architect with Jack Nicklaus, and offers five sets of tees to suit a range of playing abilities.
The front nine is the more demanding stretch and includes the scenic signature 7th. The back nine is laid out in an unusual configuration of three par 3s, three par 4s and three par 5s, encouraging risk-and-reward decisions. The round ends at the 477-yard par-4 18th, which runs along Avery Lake with views over the surrounding countryside.

The course is maintained with TifEagle greens and 419 Bermuda fairways and tees, with the greens double-cut daily.
