Oneida Municipal Golf Course dates to 1967, when it opened as the Oneida Golf & Country Club. The town of Oneida purchased the course in 2007 to keep it operating as a public facility, and it has long served as a gathering place for local golfers.
The course is open to players of all abilities and is maintained as a community-centered facility. Practice amenities include a putting green; there is no driving range, and caddies are not available. Sand bunkers come into play on the course, and walking is permitted. Operations are led by Lisa Daugherty.
