Copper Basin Golf Club has served golfers in the Appalachian foothills for more than a century, growing from a small-town course into a gathering place for players of all ages and abilities.
The club is now under new ownership by a family with deep local roots, having operated businesses in the area for over 85 years. Their approach pairs the course's historic character with ongoing upkeep of the fairways and greens, aiming for an approachable round suited to experienced golfers and beginners alike.
Planned and ongoing investments include a new clubhouse and pavilion, new carts and a cart barn, and pickleball courts, part of an effort to develop the property as a community space.
