About Dunes Golf Complex
Dunes Golf Complex is a public par-63 layout in Fort Pierre, set along the Missouri River in central South Dakota. The course plays through narrow fairways to relatively small greens, with several water hazards in play. It suits both walkers and riders, and riding carts are available to rent.
The site was once an abandoned cattle feed lot before being converted to golf. The course opened in 1995 as a nine-hole, par-29 layout with a driving range, and a second nine opened to the public in the spring of 2000. It marked its 30th anniversary in 2025.
