Sutton Bay sits on the rolling bluffs above the Missouri River in central South Dakota, a prairie setting that pairs wide-open views with the river below. The club is a private destination property, developed by a group of South Dakotans working with a golf course builder and a golf course architect.
Beyond golf, the property is oriented toward outdoor recreation, including hunting and walleye fishing on the surrounding waters, with on-site facilities and services for visiting members and guests.
