Spring Lake Country Club
About Spring Lake Country Club
Spring Lake Country Club in York dates to 1960, when Bob Renault laid out the course. The terrain is largely flat, though occasional rises can leave uneven lies. Bermuda fairways run narrow and are matched with large greens, while water hazards and a number of sand bunkers come into play across the layout.
The signature test is the ninth, a 351-yard par 4 whose approach must carry water to find the putting surface. The course measures 6,748 yards from the back tees, 6,482 from the middle tees and 4,975 from the forward tees. Spring Lake operates as a semi-private facility.
