Beech Creek Golf Club
About Beech Creek Golf Club
Beech Creek Golf Club opened for play in 1989 in the area known historically as the "High Hills of the Santee," on ground associated with the Battle of Beech Creek. The property is among the more scenic in Sumter County, with elevation changes that open up long views across the surrounding countryside and a generally quiet setting, apart from aircraft from nearby Shaw Air Force Base.
The course stretches to 6,800 yards from the back tees and presents a mix of holes described as both demanding and fair.
Beech Creek sits about three miles from Shaw Air Force Base, roughly ten minutes from Sumter and about 35 minutes from downtown Columbia, with access from I-20 and US 378/76.
