About Holly Tree Country Club

Holly Tree Country Club plays over 18 holes set among the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Designed by George Cobb, the layout suits a range of skill levels and stretches from 4,502 yards at the shortest set of tees to 6,790 yards from the blue tees, with four additional sets in between.

Four lakes and Gilder Creek bring water into play on nine holes. A double green in the St. Andrews style serves as the finishing ground for both the 9th and 18th holes.

A renovation project beginning in October 2025 covers new Tif-Eagle Bermuda greens, bunkers and tee boxes, along with remedial work on the fairways at holes 5, 6 and 13. Duininck Golf is carrying out the work under the supervision of architect Jeff Lawrence.
