About Pickens Golf Club
Pickens Golf Club is open to public play and sits between Clemson and Greenville. The renovated hybrid nine-hole layout plays to a par of 71 over 5,570 yards, with 18 separate tee boxes that allow a full 18-hole round. Features include diamond zoysia greens, Tahoma 31 tees, strategically set bunkers and rebuilt cart paths. Bermuda fairways roll through stands of pine and cedar, with woods framing the layout and water coming into play on a couple of holes. Accurate driving and a sharp short game matter on the small, undulating greens.

Formerly Pickens Country Club, the course opened in 1953 with nine holes and gained a second nine designed by Willie B. Lewis in 1958. Jeff Lawrence redesigned the course in 2021.
Practice facilities include an updated driving range plus separate chipping and putting greens. A two-level clubhouse holds a restaurant and bar overlooking the ninth green, a fitness center, golf shop and pool.
