Willbrook Plantation

Willbrook Plantation sits on a historic Lowcountry property in Pawleys Island, routed beneath centuries-old live oaks hung with Spanish moss and winding around the region's native wetlands. The 18-hole layout was designed by architect Dan Maples, who used the site's natural features to shape a course that is both scenic and demanding.

Water comes into play on 15 of the 18 holes, though much of it lies along the edges of the fairways, adding to the setting's appearance as much as to its difficulty. Plaques placed around the course document the land's past, which reaches back to the 1600s when the property formed part of a land grant from King Charles II.
