About Pawleys Plantation Golf & Country Club

Pawleys Plantation Golf & Country Club opened in 1988 as the centerpiece of a lowcountry residential community in Pawleys Island, with Jack Nicklaus designing the course and overseeing work on site.

The front nine winds among 200-year-old oaks draped in Spanish moss, typical of the South Carolina lowcountry. The closing nine turns toward the water, with six of its holes playing along a tidal marsh, combining open coastal views with a demanding finish. The layout is open to public play.
