About Dunes Golf and Beach Club
The Dunes Golf and Beach Club dates to 1947, when a group of Myrtle Beach locals set the club in motion from a fishing cabin looking out over Singleton Swash and the Atlantic. More than 75 years later it remains a member-owned club, with some 800 members, occupying an oceanfront stretch of the South Carolina coast.
The golf course was designed by Robert Trent Jones and is the only layout in Myrtle Beach with ocean views. It has hosted a range of significant competitions over the years, among them PGA Senior Tour events, the USGA Women's Open, and the Myrtle Beach Classic, the city's first PGA Tour tournament.

Beyond golf, the club maintains a tennis program staffed by nationally ranked professionals, hosts USTA-sanctioned tournaments and runs a youth tennis program. The overall atmosphere is family-oriented.
